Description

Its a left right peak beach break, sand bottom with some parts covered with seaweed. The right-hander is predominately better and you can get several turns in. Its probably better on the mid to lower tide, where the length of ride is longer, However on bigger swells, there are more poweful peaks on the higher tide. Apart from the main break, there are up to 4 other breaks at the Hebara beach. depending on the tides and the swell direction. Most Ideal conditions are, North West wind, which is perfect offshore.The rights are better on the South swell, with the lefts peeling better with a North swell. Its a fairly consistant break and even in Onshore conitions, there are rideable waves on most days. It is the site of the Japanese ASP WCT Event and nearby are a few reef breaks , which are of world class quality, when the conditions are right.
