Description

chiba has a half moon shaped coast so you look in the north on the north wind and south in the south wind. there are a large variety of wave types to be found. the man made walls "tetra pots" can shape up the fine sand into really good banks at times. there are a few reef breaks that fire on the big swells but the tsunamis pass by very quickly.ie.one day of good waves after the wind slows down. just look around you might get lucky. respect the locals, they are generally very tolerant of tourists.
