Description

Good, long, left point break, which is very consistent, and pretty much offshore in south-southeast trade winds from May to October. Afternoons may get side-chop at the top of the point. The wave holds some serious size-up to about 10+ feet, but the sets can swing very wide, and is probably best between 4-7 feet. Often gets bigger down the line, and you need to watch the very end section on lower tides. Depending on size and swell direction, the wave often has two takeoff areas, a hollow sucky upper section and a wide, bigger and fatter outside section, which holds some size. The point can line up for 300-400m rides, however it can also section, you just have to pick your wave. Barrels are most common near the very top of the point. A very good, consistent wave, for intermediates to experts, but probably not world class.
