Works best in N_NE_E swell, the lines come in at a angle and wrap around point like the superbank. In S_SE swell, alley rights can produce blinding barrels!!!!! but the lefts only closeout.......Localsim is okay, just don't paddle for a wave if you know your not going to make drop! They don't like it when kooks waiste waves by falling or not doing any sick turns!!!!! The lefts are insane in NE_E swell, they barrel and wall and get wide and then barrel again for 150-300mtres!!!!!! Sometimes in S swell carpark rights(heavy looking backdoor\mexpipe wave infront of carpark) can get comparable to backdoor oahu!!!!! never paddle to the back of line up on first surf here, cause they will get angry and drop in all yer waves! take an inside alley right or left and do a sicjk off the lip reo infront of them as thier paddling back out and they'll see that your worth and let you have some good ones!!!! There's also northy point(heavy teahopoo looking wave by rockpool)an uncrowded alternative!
