Tom- quit bitching; global's erasing me ...and I'm legitimate, educated, traveled, and, a hell of a writer! But, this is a unique forum and you were getting a little too 'suggestive' and I'd warned about young readers... So, let's get back to the topics of bronzed gods walking to a clean beach break into a setting sun, o.k, petard!

Boated to 'northeast' side of L.I. from B.I. (Block Island for Tom); swell missing here completely, yet wrapping 200 degrees to get extremest side of Montauk with 2-4' 100 yd. zippers- not a drop of water out of place and never ridden before!

Does this spot still exist? I've been looking for this spot for ages. As a fisherman I've always kept my eyes open yet I've never seen anything that resembles swell. Maybe I saw a few spots that had non beachbreaking waves, but it was when the wind was 50mph.
Can anyone tell me if it still exists? Or am I wasting my time?
Any info would be appreciated. Even if you could just tell me if it's on the north or south shore
