RE: Why are the Hawaii locals all a$$holes?« on: January 28 2008 14:01:00 »
Their waves? How is it that the waves belong to anyone? Local or not.

Inbred ancestors? Read a book dipshit. Hawaiians are infamous for inbreeding.

Could it be Tom you're turning brown because of your propensity to wade in polluted Cayuhoga River, thinking you're surfing in the Grate Leaks? Hawaii is an honor to surf and don't expect anything until you've proven YOUR Aloha! It's not for beginners, wannabees (not your killer kind), or racists. Hawaiians have been ripped off more than Native Americans, so have learned from the white, christian masters; maybe, giving respect and compensation would be a good beginning!

Don't drop in and don't act like a punk and you'll be fine. I'm a blonde haired blue eyed haole who's lived on Oahu for almost two years, never had a problem. I'm an intermediate surfer at best, but I know how to stay out of people's way and I know better than to drop in. Hell just two days ago I went out to Makaha (onr of the more local spots on the island) on a decent day and didn't have a single problem. Surf with Aloha and you'll have no problems. Surf like a di*khead and you might get cracked.

It is shameful of anyone to believe that they are entitled to surf anywhere on this planet. 10 years in Hawaii in the 70's provided me with an education both on shore and off shore. Keep it tidy, take care of youself and watch after your brothers. Things have not changed...you want to test yourself then respect all of those who take it day by day. Just know there are places that you dont want to be and should not be. The beauty of the place always rides with me. Be careful who you piss off...You want to surf the place...keep a low profile.

I was lucky to have grown up on Oahu. Truth be told the whole place was taken from the Hawaiians and even to this day some of the so called "locals" are outsiders who grew up there thinking that they were the locals. Surfing is not about ownership of anything but it is about respecting everything....surf with a soul. lucky if you get invited and do try the poi....52 this summer and riding a 7'8 and a 6'6.

Howzit that this moke Rick dick has lived and surfed in all the different posts? Methinks, it's non-stander Tom and seth (another Deleverance extra!) and LOCAL means exactly what it states: Rick Kane, North Shore retro-Beaccchhhh, and that ain't you; I'm reporting this violation to da P-Boyz and we'll be watching you (which should be ez- beige Summertone sponger with 70's mustache and gay neck-twitch beachhhhh!). Oz, you stay home too, Obama and Clinton will be in your 'surf spot' soon, Philly cream-cheese ghettomeister beachhhhhh!

it just seems that the world took advantage of the hawaiins "aloha" and there open arms to sharing there land and waves now they are paying for it,we have a simular problem in nz with issues with rights to seabed and foreshore access, you know what the locals need to do,hold contests evry weekend for locals only, thats what we started doing at our beach, all we did was put up the green and red boards and flags, with our club banners up ,wore coloured rashies and had our whahines(women) holding fake scoresheets, haha, peace all,

WTF wombat mofo' are you even driveling about rashguards, herpes medication, bluehams, etc., etc? The Maori invented ink as a ritual so now anae hodad from Waterloo can be kool and badass and never having left the mainland! But, posers are soooo recognizable; case, this morn: Monahan's, 40 warm s. chunky Atlantic grey, foggy, 5-8' bumps....3 Roger Williams faculty getting quick kelp foam barrels, while 'Gansett and Newpaawt surf shop owners' sat in their Chevy campers sipping Starbuck's; get the pic? ("Would'st thou go down ,to the roaring of the seas, only those who brave its dangers, comprehend its mystery" Shaka-speare!).
