RE: surf in Montevideo City

Hey guys,
I don't know if it possible to surf in Montevideo, but u shure can in Punta del Este.

For how long will you be there? I'll arrive at the end of December and I will stay until end of February ... so how about going surfing together then ;-)

RE: surf in Montevideo City

My Friends,

Sorry for the news, but there´s no surf in Montevideo City. The better it can get is 2 feet´s at 7 seconds, a bit better than lake Michigan !
Though you can score moderate waves in 3 hours range driving
bests,

RE: surf in Montevideo City

there are some surf chances in montevideo, but it is really unusual, may be once a month, specially in winter, it can get to 5 ft max... but you can take a two hour bus, or drive one hour, to punta del este and you'll probably find good waves
best
