Us Irish surf chicks are on our way over for x-mas, are you sure we can get away with wearing a 3/2?? Would it be a bad time to camp weather wise or is there any cheap accomadition you can tell me about? Were only poor students!

the water temp in california will be pushing about 55 degrees in december. Plenty cold but a 3/2 will get you through.

You should be able to camp at a lot of breaks as it will be winter and the most use of those places is summer. HTH

Stick to southern california, not only will a 3/2 work in the winter youll be surfing great waves. Sooo many great spots.
Also try a rash guard under the wetsuit to knock down the chill.

don't worry about the sharks they are in Ireland to. by the way socal is your best bet it has bean pumpin beautiful clean surf reacently.
