Is there any good breaks in Block ISland. i have been there in mid summer with no hurricane and the only breaks are on the beach right onto the sand.

Surf is always flat on Block Island. I'd stay on the mainland or try New York. I bet Montauk gets good sweel. Block, no way.

Did you notice, moderator, the idiotic spelling of all posts? Tom went to B.I. once, but got seasick and had to be airlifted to the infirmary for drag queens in Newport; too bad, New Harbor was getting a rare short-interval west swell that pumped 3-4' lefts into the dredge bank outside the harbor; it broke cleaner than Sand Spit in 72% summer Gulf Stream waters!
