Hands down- Cove at Goosewing Beach on 5-6 southeast swell-Breaks and barrels like mini- Jeffrey's Supertubes- Low-tide boulders break up 100 yd. speed run and local Yankees throwing kielbasa from the bluffs. Get out there!

I know warm waters will chastise me, but k-39 (they try to mask it, calling it Cays), is an infinitely long left (some rights) over smooth cobblestones. Rides are great for nose-riding, but keep the loggers out! The real secret here is the dredge site half mile outside the breakwater- Mysto left 10-20'. When it's small, k-39 offers see-thru lips, where you can see Gulf Stream fish cavorting and jungle swaths of kelp species below your fins! Go snorkeling.

Listen Vulva grab or whatever, while the Outer Banks have the 'source' of most east coast swells, look where they go...North! Sorry, Linnard Skinnard, but ripping is more than drop, pull-in, then get quashed in the shorebreak. Try an endless summer point break at Bonnet Shores or Sachuset Point (with the help of 'trunkin' Gulf Stream north move in summer), then y'all kin git radical! Conneticut Yankee!

The site that 'Dinny boy' referred to doesn't exist because there's NO waves in Rhode Island other than those made by Patriot and Red Sox fans in the stadium!! Although, I did observe a 200 yard Uluwatu left slab on the east side of the Sakonnet River spitting it's occupant all away across the channel back to his gay riding club in
Pawtsmoth' while I was cruisin on a sub heading to Fall River in 1972.

hattaras in NC or Wrightsville beach. Very solid in winter months.

Because of poor soils and building on them, the coastal plain gets saturated with salt water, then bodies and coffins float out into the surfline-nice surfing environment! Better off heading to Block Island, Nantucket, or the Vineyard; uncrowded warm-water, flawless sandbars and cobblestone points (with a reward of blueberry pie instead of grits when your sesh' is done). Head North, young man, head North.

Ha, Sid- Newport has great 1st, 2nd beach 3' closeouts, Ruggles is an 8' mushburger after take-off, and the 'ledge' broke twice this decade, so whatsa' hap? Isn't it better to go to the casinos for an endorphin fix?
