I'm heading to the Netherlands in March, the 11th to the 16th, and I'm wondering whether or not it's a good season for surfing. I'll be arriving in Amsterdam and I plan to surf as muc as I can during that time, but I really want to know what kind of board I should bring for what the waves will be like during that time. Thanks for any help.

march is a colf month, so be prepaired! bring the whole shit with you! 5/3 wetsuit, booties,gloves, hooties etc.
you get waves like 1m till 2,5m.
a FISH(6,2-6,4) is a good choice, when comming to holland.
Scheveningen Noord or Zuid Pier are best placeses to surf

you also can try Wijk aan Zee, i just returned from South Africa, was there for 4.5 months, and in Mozambique, they also have waves, but very rocky. I live in Amsterdam, and Wijk aan Zee is close compared to Scheveningen, it's just that you need a car... email me if you are going surfing and want some company, bye, Sunny,
