surfing near tacloban« on: January 17 2007 09:01:00 »
i'm flying to Cebu mid-february and would like a place to surf near there. I am intermediate. I was thinking of going towards tacloban to find some waves, but am going with some friends who don't surf. is there a place with waves and where non-surfers can enjoy themselves at the same time? Palo maybe? is dead man's curve suitable?
i look forward to a few tips!

check tanauan,30 min. drive from tacloban, then look for dave,a local surfer/skimboarder.he will take you to dmz or to there secret spots around leyte.
if you want to surf bigger waves, visit borongan eastern samar.
4 hrs drive from tacloban.
surf spots here is just infront of town,so your non surfer friend will also enjoy.
