Surfing in Barbados for beginners« on: June 09 2004 18:06:00 »
I have only a few experiences with surfing but I would like to learn more...where do you think I could do it in Barbados? What about Batsheba?
Thank you very much for your comment :)

Avoid Bathsheba!, very dangerous for a novice, strong rips, heavy waves and sharp rock shelf inside. Try Dover beach in St Lawrence Gap and Freights on the edge of Enterprise drive. Both spots are easy going and safe. Freights is an amazing spot with very few people out. long rides with a longboard on the right swell. Watch the turtles from the road! very cool!.
