Surfing in Barbados for beginners« on: June 09 2004 18:06:00 »
I have only a few experiences with surfing but I would like to learn more...where do you think I could do it in Barbados? What about Batsheba?
Thank you very much for your comment :)

I came back to Finland from Barbados today. I spent one afternoon by learning surfing in Batsheba. Great place and the time was very good to me because the wawes were quite low. I got couple of nice rides and learned a lot there. I rented the board near the beach. Only bad thing was that I brokened the skin of my chest in vaxed board because I didn't have any wetsuit. The place is just wonderful, despite of few young local guys who were always padling too close.

i was in barbados in october last year for 3 weeks. awesome surf spent most of my time in soup bowls bathsheba but theres loads of spots south of the island which is more mellow. try south point, and all around that area. not big at all but you should get some surf. and theres loads of places to stay aswell which are reasonably priced too!! enjoy
