water temp in alexandra bay« on: June 20 2005 04:06:00 »
just wondering if its warm enough just to wear boardies and a rashy in the sunshine coast at this time of year. Taking into consideration I am a kiwi and surf in the deep south all year round. Would be stocked with any help cheers

hey mate, i surf the sunny coast all the time. really it all depends on how much you feel the cold. i suppose you could get away with boardies and a rashie but you wouldnt be staying out for more than 1.5 hours if theres a bit of wind. so really if you wanna stay out for a while bring just a tube suit(vest top short arm) or a short arm short leg. nothing too thick, just something to take the first edge off. seing as your from NZ you might even get away with one of those radiator rashie tops.
